Bayrischer Gulasch (Bavarian Goulash)


Ingredients
2 Pounds New Potatoes -- Cooked
4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Pounds Lean Beef -- Cubed
2 Large Onion -- Chopped
2 Medium Tomatoes -- Chopped
1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
1 Clove Garlic -- Chopped
1 Teaspoon Paprika
1 Medium Bay Leaf
2 Cups Beef Broth
2 Tablespoons Flour
1/4 Cup Red Wine

Directions
Saute beef in oil until well browned about 15 minutes. Add onions, saute for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, garlic, paprika and bay leaf. Stir in broth. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Remove 1/4 cup beef broth, stir together with flour and add back to the pot. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add wine, simmer for 10 minutes. Serve over potatoes.
