Ingredients
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Pounds Lamb -- Cubed
1 Medium Onion -- Chopped
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
2 Teaspoons Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
1 Tablespoon Cumin
2 Medium Bay Leaves
2 Cups Chicken Stock
6 Cups Water
3 Cups Peas
Directions
Saute lamb, onion and turmeric in oil for 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper, cumin, bay leaves, stock and water. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Add peas and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve.
