Overview

Occupational health is concerned with the health and safety of employees of a business. Employers are expected to follow a set of regulations that define acceptable conditions of work and safety, which promote productivity and welfare of the workers. These conditions range from employee work hours to minimizing hazards in the work environment. In many countries, businesses may or are required to have insurance that cover workplace accidents.
