Kidney Disorders

The kidney is responsible for the filtration and excretion of various solutes present in blood plasma. This organ also functions to help maintain the body's pH level at around 7.4. Kidney disorders include the diseases that affect the normal function of the kidneys, as well as the possible consequences of such failure.
