Prostate Conditions

The prostate is anatomically located between the bladder and the urethral sphincter of males. It surrounds a portion of the urethra, which is the duct through which urine flows during urination. The prostate also secretes fluid that constitutes a part of semen. Prostate cancers and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) are common conditions that affect elderly men.
