Constipation

Constipation is the condition of abnormally infrequent bowel movements. This can arise due to intestinal obstruction from congenital or acquired disorders. The prolonged presence of fecal matter in the intestinal tract can also result in further water absorption, leading to dryer stools and exacerbating the constipation.
