Video Game Control

Name Console Function Comments
Analogue Stick GameCube Walk around. The Hate-Giant (Jashin) can walk faster than the Love-Giant (Doshin).
D Pad GameCube Camera zoom. Pressing up will cause the camera to zoom in; pressing down will cause the camera to zoom out.
C Stick GameCube Camera angle. Tilting the C Stick will cause the camera to swing around the Giant.
Start Button GameCube View the pause screen. Pauses gameplay and loads the pause screen.
L Button GameCube Transform. The Hate-Giant (Jashin) will change into the Love-Giant (Doshin).
R Button GameCube Takes a photo. A photo of the game screen is taken and is stored in the photo album.
A Button GameCube Attack. The Hate-Giant (Jashin) smashes the ground with both hands. If A is pressed whilst the analogue stick is tilted, the Giant fires a Shockwave.
B Button GameCube Jump. The ground gets dented with the force of landing.
X Button GameCube Raise the ground. The Hate-Giant (Jashin) can raise ground more quickly when he is larger.
Y Button GameCube Lower the ground. The Hate-Giant (Jashin) can lower ground more quickly when he is larger.
X and Y Button Together GameCube Level the land. When the Giant is a certain size, pressing the buttons together will level the land.
