Gameplay

Phantasy Star Online Episode III takes the universe of Phantasy Star and places it into a different form of gaming. Players now use cards for weapons and enemies. This is done in five phases. Dice, Set, Move, Action, Draw phases make up the core of the game as players attempt to vanish the Hero character of their opponent.

Story

It is 21 years after the events of the original Phantasy Star Online (Episodes I and II). Pioneer 2 is still orbiting Ragol, still unable to settle upon Ragol's surface. The government is attempting to urbanize Ragol but is meeting fierce resistance from a group called Arkz. The government and Arkz will fight for the future of Ragol.
