General Information

In this sequel to SA, Earth is brought to more harm as the Chaos Emeralds are scattered again. Since Eggman's "Chaos" plan failed, he must try a new method of world domination; retrieving the "ultimate lifeform" that his grandfather Gerald built. While, on Sonic's side, he is being captured by the police for an unknown reason.

This game, uniquely, lets you play as both the bad and the good characters, adding depth to the storyline. Also adds the characters "Rouge" and "Shadow". Also, there is a Gamecube port available, named "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle".


Cheat Code

Name Code Function
Unlockable: New karts for kart race mini-game Complete all of a character's missions to get their new kart, regardless of rank. See the previous statement in this code. Press the Up Button after doing this to use the costume.
Unlockable: New multiplayer stages at Level 4 Complete both Hero and Dark stories. See the previous statements in this code.
New multiplayer costumes Complete all missions with a character. However, they must all be A-Ranks. Press the Up Button on a character that has a swirling change signal above his/her head and you can get a special costume that allows special abilities to be used.
