General Information

Because STH1 was so popular with genesis owners, Sega created a sequel to STH: Sonic the Hedgehog 2. This version included Sonic in brand-new levels in a continuation of his previous quest: to stop Robotnik from dominating the world.


This also introduced Miles Tails Prower, a fox whose idol is Sonic. He also can fly and team up with Sonic at ease. (Note: In this game, Tails would not fly manually; only when he needed to catch up with Sonic.)
