All Fives is a Draw Dominoes game with complicated scoring which has wide following in the United States. The game is also called Muggins or Five Up.
- Each player draws five dominoes to start.
- The first player can place any tile down and scores if the total number of pips on the tile sums to 5 or a multiple of 5 (either 5 or 10).
- The second player must play another tile to the first one and will score if pips at each open end sums to 5 or a multiple of 5.
- The next player places a double perpindicular to the second tile, so that an upper case "T" shape is formed. If the number of dots of all four open ends subtracted from the dots of unopen ends equals 5 or a multiple of 5, a point is scored.
- The next player places a tile perpindicular to the third tile, continuing the line started by the first and second tile, so that a lower case "t/+" shape is formed. If pips on all open ends of the whole shape, including both ends of the third tile, total 5 or a multiple, a point is scored.
- Play continues in any direction under Draw Dominoes rules. Rounds usually continue until 150-200 points have been scored. As always, the winner of each round gets as many points as there pips on the tiles each player still has.
- If a player fails to recognise that they have scored points, another player may shout out "Muggins" or "Fives" and claim the points for themselves.
