General Information

Conkers is played by two people at at time.

• Players each have a horse chestnut attached to a piece of string.
  
• They take turns at striking each other's conker.
  
• The aim of the game is to detach the other player's conker from its string.

Safety

Conkers can be a dangerous game. There are some precautions that can be taken to make the game safer.

• Practise softly first to avoid injuring knuckles.
  
• Do not get too close to the conker.
  
• Wait for conkers to fall before collecting them.
  
• Do not allow children to make the holes in the conker.
