Botticelli is a general knowledge game.
- One person (Person A) chooses a well-known or familiar individual or character. Person A must state the first letter of the individual's name.
- Other players must then take turns to ask questions to the Person A that are also descriptions of individuals or characters that are possible answers. Person A must reply with the name of the individual or character that the question describes.
- If Person A doesn't name the correct individual or character in their reply, the person who asked the question is entitled to ask a Yes or No question so that they can find out more about the individual or character.
- The first person to guess the specific individual or character wins and gets to be Person A in the next game.
