Turn Flow

DEPLOY
Every turn, the player gets six counters to use for deployment. Costs are usually found in the upper left-hand corner of the card. Cards deployed on the first turn are placed face down on the table. They are then revealed on the second turn. Otherwise, they deploy face up.
The player can deploy a location for free, as long as it is on the planet currently being faught for.

BATTLE
A player can declare an attack if the opponent has characters on his side of the field. Each player takes all of his characters and then places them face down. Each player then turns up their top card and compares power.
-Player's power is higher than opponent's: Player puts his card aside and makes room for his next character. The opponent discards his character. In addition, opponent must pay penalties listed on card for discarding.
-Opponent's power is higher than player's: Opponent's character stays at the planet and player discards his character. In addition, player must pay penalties listed on card for discarding.
-Totals are the same: Both remain on the planet.
-Player faces no character: Opponent discards one card from the top of his deck.
Continue this process until all characters have been resolved.

EVEN UP
Hand must be at six cards before the turn ends. If player has more than six in his hand, player must discard down to six. If player has less than six, he draws up to six.

Play then shifts to opponent.
