Alpha bars are an easy way to sort subcategories that might otherwise be difficult to sort. Subcategories can then be sorted by title.
Alphabars can be used to ease the listing of subcategories that are not easily sorted. They can also be used when there are many subcategories in one larger category.
Alphabars are automatically made when 5 single character subcategories appear in one category. Numbers and capital letters are arranged in alphanumerical order, beginning with 0 and ending with Z above all other subcategories.
To delete an alphabar, the deletion of all such single letter cats is necessary.
