Web Promotion software enables a user that installs this type of software application on a client machine (usually a PC) to promote a website or sites on the Internet.

This software group has a number of software types: Search Engine Submission, Link Popularity, Web Ranking and Web Optimization to name just a few.

Other website promotion methods such as email promotion are not part of this category.
