An ASP is a service provider whose specialization is the implementation and ongoing operations management of one or more networked applications on behalf of its customer. PPC bid Management companies are a good example of this. GoToast is basically an ASP.

A key attribute of an ASP is the rapid evolvolution and emphasis on Web-based e-business application management as an important differentiator from the more traditional outsourced client-server application management services.

There are many in the industry who believe that this class of service has enormous potential.
