Overview

A complete computer system is defined as being one with the capability to have input from the user (often through a keyboard), output back to the user (usually through a monitor) and some process in between, plus feedback so that a user can proceed based on the decisions made by processing.

For example, we can type in text using a keyboard, it goes in via memory and is stored, and then is displayed on-screen, and we can examine it to ensure that we have not made a mistake in entering it.

Computer technology has grown dramatically since then. The computer used to be used mainly to type up a document or maybe play a video game.
