ACM SIGMOD conference is the premier international conference on management of data. It is a leading international forum for database researchers, practitioners, developers, and users to explore cutting-edge ideas and results, and to exchange techniques, tools, and experiences.
PODS, the Symposium on Principles of Database Systems, is the premiere international conference on the theoretical aspects of database management systems. PODS was started in 1982. Since 1991, PODS has been held jointly with the SIGMOD conference.
