Cash Advance

Cash advances are offered by credit card issuers, in the form of convenience checks mailed to the consumer's address, or by simply using one's credit card at an ATM. Cash advance balances are usually revolved at an interest rate significantly higher than the standard one for purchases. A cash advance transaction fee is also assessed, typically for 3% of the transaction amount.
