Dada

An art movement founded in Europe during the early 20th century. Dada artists produced works that reflected, in part, a statement against the inhumanity of World War I. The Dadaists utilized an anarchic spirit as a reaction and rejection of traditional values and ideas surrounding art and writing. This can be seen in works of Duchamp, Man Ray, Hoch, Miro and Picasso.
