Kids show Zoom was among the earliest interactive television shows ever created and was also the first to be hosted entirely by children. The seven very different child presenters were the stars of a half-hour educational program made with the help of viewers and a production team.
The show's variety of regular features included games, jokes, reviews, songs, stories and mini documentaries made by viewers. Producer Christopher Sarson thought of the show nothing but kids having fun, but the format was very popular with audiences in almost every state in the U.S.
