In 1999 when the All That cast and crew needed a new project at the end of the first season, The Amanda Show was the result. It combines All That-style comedy sketches with advertising spoofs and satirical soap opera Moody Point.
Popular teenager star Amanda Bynes is the star of the show, adding bizarre and random humor and strange encounters. Amanda’s most dedicated fan, ironically also played by Amanda Bynes, dominates every episode with attempts to finally meet Amanda, yet a determined security guard is almost always there to stop her.
