Barnaby Jones

Buddy Ebsen plays former private investigator Barnaby Jones who is forced out of retirement to track down the killer of his son Hal.

Along with the help of Frank Cannon (William Conrad), Jones eventually finds the killers of his son. Deciding that retirement wasn't all he thought it would be, Barnaby decides to come out of retirement and resume the practice of private investigator, with the help of Hal's widow Betty Jones (Lee Meriwether) who takes on the job of secretary.
