Synopsis

The unusual Australian comedy Kath and Kim is a satirical look at Australian lifestyles, accents and idiots.

Kath and Kim are a close mother and daughter duo with very conflicting ideas on how to do things. Both struggle with relationships and are far from willing to admit it. Kim expects Kath to be at all the things she isn’t, including relationships, and Kath uses her mother’s lack of talents as an excuse for her shortfalls.

On either side of the mother-daughter relationships are their equally useless partners, while Babe’s Magda Szubanski is great as netball-mad Sharon who spends much of her time behind the fridge door.
