Stephen Fry stars as the immortal character of clever butler Jeeves in this British comedy classic. Jeeves is a dedicated servant to the rich but very stupid Wooster and his intelligent plans are inevitably required by Wooster when meeting the requests of Wooster’s wealthy Aunt Augusta.
This comedy takes a satirical perspective of the British class system and how wealth was not represented by intelligence but rather by family. Wooster’s lack of appreciation for Jeeve’s intelligence and dedication for his master is shown when Wooster dismisses Jeeves and discovers his butler has been quickly picked up by a wealthy friend.
