Synopsis

John Cleese is Basil Fawlty, a hotel owner and operator whose lack of hotel management skills and constant rudeness lead him to create memorable but unfavorable holiday memories for his guests.

Basil’s wife Sybell is equally incapable, spending most of her time in a gripping novel. She approaches disasters calmly, blaming everything on the very worried Basil.
