Raymond is a man having to face the troubles of strange, arguing parents, a jealous brother in his second marriage, a busy sports journalism career and parenthood. Unfortunately, his wife has to face all of it as well.
Everybody Loves Raymond, based on television ratings, is among the most popular sitcoms ever created and its success is due to the different family characters and how they interact with Raymond. Ray’s father is very competitive with Ray and isn’t a good father, while Ray’s mother is something of an obsessive worrier who can become quite emotional. To add to the strange character mix is Ray’s giant brother, who is jealous of occasions when he believes his parent’s treated Ray better and who entertains the opportunities for brotherly arguments.
