What is the Bloomberg television network?

Bloomberg is a twenty-four hour business and finance channel aimed at 'serious investor' (Bloomberg, 2004).

It is available in the United States, Brazil, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Japan and in the Asia-Pacific region, including Singapore and Australia. It is also available in seven different languages.

Michael Bloomberg started the network in 1981 following extensive experience in the financial sector. Twenty years later, in 2001, he became Mayor of New York City.
