Description

The Wiz is a modern-day version of L. Frank Baum's Wizard of Oz. While the storyline is basically the same as compared to The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz takes the original fairy tale in a new direction with an all-black cast, a pop/rock score, and a very modern script that retells the story in such a way that makes it more relevant to life today.
