Description

Cinderella originated as a TV presentation on March 31, 1957 on CBS starring Julie Andrews. The musical was prepared in only eight months for the TV performance.

The musical later came to the stage in 1993 with a production by the New York City Opera Company. Also, in 1997, The Wonderful World of Disney brought Cinderella back to television with a new flare. The movie brought together singers Brandy and Whitney Houston and was a critical success.
