Roger McGuinn started his musical sojourn with traditional folk music.
It wasn't until after the Beatles invaded in 1964, that McGuinn would go on to invent a new genre of pop music, combining folk guitars together with a rock and roll beat through the music of his group The Byrds.
These days, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee has re-embraced his roots by releasing a series of traditional folk music albums.
