Neal Schon started Journey in 1973. Their first #1 was Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'. They broke up in 1987 and got back together in 1996 to make Trial By Fire. Lead singer Steve Perry quit because of health complications and singer (and in my opinion Steve Perry wannabe) Steve Augeri took over for lead singer. They still tour and make albums but the height of their success was with Steve Perry. Last January Journey recieved a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood.
