Mark Farner was founder, principle songwriter and frontman for one of the most well known and beloved rock ensembles of the 1970s, Grand Funk Railroad. GFR sold millions of records and set attendance records worldwide until their disbandment in 1983. Since then, Farner has worked as a solo performer.
Grand Funk Railroad reunited with their original lineup from 1996 to 1999, when they disbanded again.
Today, Mark Farner tours the world with his band N'r'G.
