"Emily Maguire, born in Canberra in 1976, has lived most of her life in the Western suburbs of Sydney. She worked in various occupations before travelling extensively through Europe and the United States. Settled in Sydney once again, Emily now divides her time between studying for her Masters degree in Literature at the University of New England, teaching and working on her next novel.
