Biography

Maurice Gee is considered one of New Zealand's best novelists. He is best known for Plumb, which won several major awards in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

Under the Mountain, a children's novel which has been adapted into a television series, follows the heroic journey of two King Country children under Auckland's volcanic moutains.
