When Speed Racer started in the 1960’s in the US it was the first people had ever saw of the Japanese animation style, but the adventures of teenage car-mad Speed Racer and his friends that saw them defeat foes like Skull Duggery has remained popular. The real star is the super-fast Mach 5.
