Synopsis

Futurama is a wild prediction of the future that is more inaccurate than the Jestsons. A teenage boy named Philip J. Fry who is playing around in a science laboratory on New Year’s Eve 1999 travels through a time machine and finds himself in world of suicidal alcoholic robots, attractive one-eyed girls and smart scientists 1000 years later.

His adventures in a depressing vulnerable and heavily-commercialized world in the thirty first century is bound to attract dedicated fans is it does controversy.

The series stars Billy West as the boy and the smart professor, Katey Sagal from 8 Simple Rules and Married… with Children fame, together with Tom Kenny, Tress MacNeille and John Di Maggio.
