The music usually helps portray the current situation and many types of music are played on the show. Jazz, Bluegrass, Rock, and others can be heard frequently on this show. Another interesting thing about this show is its use of CGI blended in with regular 2-D animation.

Introduction

Cowboy Bebop is a futuristic anime series based around the lives of four bounty hunters. They always go after the biggest bounties and are rarely rewarded for their attempts. The first episodes depict their methods at catching their bounties but later in the series the plot gets deeper. The current situations of the bounty hunters are explained and their secret pasts are revealed as well.

Characters

Spike Speigel
Spike is a martial arts master whose secret past leads him to confront his former love Julia and his enemy Vicious.

Jet Black
Jet is Spike's friend and has the task of controlling the Bebop. He used to work for a police force known as the ISSP. He has only one real arm and the other has been crafted especially for him. Only later in the series is it revealed how he lost his arm.

Faye Valentine
Faye is a woman of mystery that loves escaping from her debts and gambling what money she earns. Several times during the series she leaves the Bebop crew because of her debts she owes them.

Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky 4th
Ed is a brilliant child hacker who lives on Earth. She is picked up by the Bebop crew when they make their first trip to Mars and provides comical relief throughout the rest of the series.

Ein
The last addition to the bounty hunters is a Welsh Corgi named Ein. Ein has been experimented on and is what is known as a "data" dog.
